| The Marionette Gazette Updated 4/13/2009 Artistic Director Receives Scholarship for National Festival Nat Reed, Founder and Artistic Director of Utah Marionette Theatre, has received a scholarship to attend the National Puppetry Festival in Atlanta, Georgia hosted by The Puppeteers of America. The festival will be held on the Georgia tech campus July 14th thru the 19th, and will feature workshops instructed by puppeteers from all over the US and other countries and evening performances by the same. Updated 12/12/2008 Utah Marionette Theatre will be workshopping their new production at the Salt Lake City Library Puppet Festival in March. It will be an interactive production based on and including the works of William Shakespeare. Updated 9/1/2008 The next School of Puppetry class will begin on Monday, September 8th. Puppet Class: The Lehi City Arts Council and Utah Marionette Theatre announce the Saturday School of Puppetry starting January 2008.
In this class, the students will design and build marionette characters, and perform an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.
Class will meet at the Lehi Arts Council building Saturdays 9-11am, January through May, and is open to students ages 8-18. Cost for the 5 month program is $200, and enrollment is limited to 14.

Utah Marionette Theatre Home and Schedule: The Utah Marionette Theatre will be the resident puppet theatre at the Lehi City Arts Council, and will have performances and offer classes.
